My nationwide client is looking to recruit a Valuation Surveyor at Associate Director or Director level for their South West office. The professional department is experiencing an exciting period of change, and they are seeking a driven and forward-thinking individual to join them on this journey.

The Professional Department is well known for its first-in-class valuation work with developers, property companies, institutional and private investors, retailers, regional and national corporations, banks, and local authorities. They operate across a variety of property sectors.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a growing team, with the chance to manage your own caseload, profit lines, and clients. The work will include providing valuation services, and your contribution and dedication will be highly valued and rewarded.

Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrable experience working within a valuation team in the southern region
  • Core experience in commercial and mixed-use property sectors
  • Residential, public, and specialist property experience is advantageous
  • Experience with Development Appraisals and Residual Valuation
  • MRICS qualification and RICS Registered Valuer status
  • Proficiency in valuation software packages such as Argus Developer and KEL
  • Ability to plan and prioritise workload to ensure timely provision of advice
  • Ability to maintain and enhance bank panel appointments and relationships
  • Capable of working autonomously to meet agreed deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • Good people management skills
  • Ability to write clear, concise reports with well-argued conclusions and recommendations
  • Target-driven and able to work at a fast pace
  • Hold a full UK driving licence
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, NBS software, and Microsoft packages is advantageous
