We are pleased to be partnering with an independent property consultancy based in the UK, known for their customer-first focus and collaborative, agile approach to project delivery.
We are keen to speak to experienced surveyors with an eye for detail for an Associate Director level position, with a strong track record of providing advice on overarching Commercial Property Management strategy and its role within a client’s business. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification Property Management experience in a similar customer-focused role.
The role primarily involves overseeing the management of Central London offices and a South East-based retail portfolio, requiring expertise in management surveying, strong leadership skills and attention to detail. An understanding of facilities management and operational experience is also necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of multiple commercial properties for important clients (predominantly office & retail)
- Coordinate with various teams to ensure timely rent and service charge processing and payment tracking.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, occupiers, and internal teams.
- Handle licenses, occupier requests, and covenant compliance.
- Set, oversee, and report on service charge and annual budgets.
- Manage contractors and suppliers.
- Collaborate with other departments to deliver property services.
- Maintain data accuracy in the property management database.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Customer service focus.
- Proven commercial property management experience, including knowledge of Landlord & Tenant law.
- Expertise in managing office buildings and retail units.
- Strong budgeting, cost control, and service charge administration skills.
- Understanding of building construction, M&E installations, and contract management.
- Experience with lease renewals, rent reviews, lettings, and licenses.
- Detail-oriented with excellent numerical and written communication skills.
- Target-driven and well-organised.
- People management experience.
- RICS qualification.
- Full UK driving license.
- Familiarity with Property Management software.
